The skill of Panificio Patti's pastry chefs and typical Piedmontese workmanship meet all the flavour of Mediterranean ingredients in these soft amaretti biscuits.
Prepared with sweet and bitter almonds left to ripen in the sun, this is what makes these biscuits special.

The recipe is typical of the Lower Piedmont region and influenced by the Arabs during the Middle Ages. Record first shows they were prepared for the Savoy court thanks to the cook Francesco Moriondo, over time the recipe was perfected and rooted in local customs so as to become recognised as a PAT, Piedmontese Agri-food Product.

Their irregular cloud shape hides the beauty of a manual process that knows no boundaries of time.
The soft amaretti are excellent to serve at the end of a meal with a good glass of Amaro or to be used in the preparation of desserts. Try them for cooking Bonet, the typical Piedmontese chocolate pudding with amaretti and liqueur.

These biscuits are gluten-free!
