Saffron risotto calls? Riso Maratelli 1914 answers!
With this preparation, you can create the perfect risotto with porcini mushrooms in few simple steps and in less than 20 minutes.
For a real chef's touch, you can add Gorgonzola, cubes of Pancetta or Guanciale with rosemary.

The base of the rice is still Maratelli Rice: a historic variety grown only in the Vercelli area with a semi-fine, coarse-grained grain.
This rice is flavoured with Piedmontese saffron. Since the 15th century, the Asti and Monferrato area has been a world reference point for the production of this spice derived from the flower belonging to the Iridaceae family.

In a pan heat two tablespoons oil, toast the contents of the package for about a minute, stirring constantly, if you like, add 1/2 glass whit wine and stir for a few seconds, cover with 650 ml of hot water, not salt and don't add any seasonings.
During cooking, stir occasionally and, if necessary, add a little hot water until cooked (16-18 minutes). When cooked, remove from the heat, stir in pleasure.
