The essence of this very special beer lies in its name: "Mo" comes from mosto referring to the Nebbiolo grape must and "Ma" refers to the barley malt. In fact, this is an IGA (Italian Grape Ale, a typical Italian brewing style) to which wort and grapes are added in the fermentation process.

It is the latest creation of Birrificio Balabìott in collaboration with Cantine Garrone. If this combination is already surprising in itself, it is even more curious to know that every year the flavour of the beer changes according to the freshly harvested grapes.

The first fermentation of the must takes place spontaneously on the grape's indigenous yeasts, the maturation takes place in steel, and the second fermentation in the bottle.
This combination of grapes and beer makes the sour note perceptible as a background note and not as a lingering note on the palate, as is the case with the rest of the beers.
It has a pinkish colour and a light alcohol content.

Excellent with white meats, vegetables, and battered fish or shellfish.
