One of the best known cheeses in Piedmont: Castelmagno!
It is produced only in a restricted area of the Val Grana, coinciding with the three municipalities of Castelmagno, Pradleves and Monterosso Grana. The DOC dates back to 1982, the DOP recognition is awarded in 1996.
The flavor of this cheese is strong, intense, with light notes of stables and strong hints of penicillo if seasoned properly.
We recommend it together with gnocchi and a glass of red wine!

Serving suggestion: full-bodied and aged red wines, sweet and fortified. Blueberry jam, rye bread or with our Mulino San Giorgio polenta.

Appearance: compact and grainy straw-yellow paste, in mature specimens with blue-green mottled marbling.

Ripening: at least 60 days

It is our priority to pack and ship the products securely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum-sealed and we use dry ice and thermal bags.

Wine (or bottles in general) are shipped using inflatable bags and are designed to protect them throughout the journey. We remind you that all packaging can be easily reused.
