In the past, the city of Bra was the market where this cheese, produced in the Cuneo mountains, was sold in the market. Today this typical product is produced throughout the provincial territory. The Bra in its two versions obtained the Doc in 1982.
The additions of sheep and goat’s milk are small compared to the amount of cow’s milk, but they manage to give the cheese a strong organoleptic imprint.
One of the most renowned cheeses of lower Piedmont, ideal to be enjoyed in the company of cold cuts and wines typical of the area. Amazing!
