The Umami black shallot is a gourmet product derived from the white shallot.
Umami invented the process of maturation and natural fermentation at controlled temperature and humidity that lasts about a month, in which the shallot loses its strong and pungent flavor, acquiring at the same time a soft texture and a pleasant delicate taste. The process is similar to the one to make black garlic.
With its original black shallot, Umami created a ready-to-eat cream perfect as a condiment to your pasta, risotto and even meats and fish. A unique product that will surely improve your cooking game!
