The love affair between Piedmont and chocolate started many centuries ago, precisely in 1585 when Charles Emanuel I, Duke of Savoy married Catherine, daughter of Philip II of Spain. In fact, thanks to the Spaniards and their colonies cocoa arrived in Italy. Turin, with Gianduiotti, Cremini and lots of other traditional chocolates, is the Italian capital of chocolate, making its tradition and production a real pride for us!
