The love affair between Piedmont and chocolate started many centuries ago, precisely in 1585 when Charles Emanuel I, Duke of Savoy married Catherine, daughter of Philip II of Spain. And with her she brought the cocoa of the New World to Italy.  But Piedmont added something special to the chocolate, mixing the rich cocoa with the smooth hazelnuts of the region to create a unique and deliciously sweet, beloved by all. Turin, with Gianduiotti, Cremini and lots of other traditional chocolates, is the Italian capital of chocolate, making its tradition and production a real pride for us! Enjoy this traditional Italian flavour in a tasty bite, or in a creamy spread for your breakfast.
