The great enogastronomic tradition of this area has created red full-bodied and scented wines ideal for the local cuisine. In the Novara’s hills, we find the Ghemme Docg and Nebbiolo Doc, but also the Barbera or the Vespolina Doc. Val d’Ossola is known for its characteristic terrace vineyards – here we have wines that bring the flavors of the mountain with them like Prünent ( 700 years of history), the Cá d’Maté and the Tarlap which have received the D.O.C certification in 2009.
