Guffanti

Via Milano, 140, 28041 Arona (NO)

A bit of history

When great-grandfather Luigi Guffanti began maturing Gorgonzola cheese in 1876, his brilliant intuition was to buy an abandoned silver mine in Valganna and a cellar in Arona.
In the mine, with its constant temperature and humidity all year round, the cheese matured so well that Luigi immediately cornered the markets.

The utmost attention to the artisanal quality of the cheeses and the passionate care of the refinement mark the proud tradition of the Guffanti Fiori family that has been handed down for five generations.
Today the company has become the reference point for conscious consumers looking for typical, quality cheeses all over the world. It can be said that a company like Guffanti is a small but fierce ambassador of our food and wine traditions.
