Birrificio Diciottozerouno
A bit of history
Marco and Davide worked from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their daily jobs, but at 6:01 p.m. every day they started working on their unreleased dream. A dream that since 2014 has become reality: they left their fixed job in Milan to undertake an uncertain and unknown path, whose compass for orientation was the passion for the world of beer and the ambition to create something authentic. That’s why their name “Diciottozerouno”, to never forget where everything started.
In their brewery on Lake Maggiore, which used to be the family barn, they continue to select high quality raw materials and experiment with innovative varieties using the 12HL brewing machine with adjoining cooking area. Their years of study and pursuit of excellence have been recognised by the prizes awarded by the European Beer Star in Nuremberg, one of the most important beer competitions in the world.
All their beers are neither pasteurised nor filtered. In short, beer with a capital B!
