A bit of history...
It all started from the small company of Aldo Frezzato and Franco Rossini in Barriera di Milano in the post-war period where everything had to be rebuilt, where the well-being was the peace difficulty achieved and chocolate a luxury item, a cuddle to be reserved for holidays. In those years the Turin tradition had not died out under the bombings but was coming back to light to delight the palates of the Savoy and not.
Not just Gianduiotti, but pralines, bars, up to the spreads that would gradually become commonplace in everyone’s homes, just like household appliances!
In 2018 Aldo and Franco decided that the time has come to pass the hand and a consortium of chocolate lovers decides to accept the passing of the baton of this company and to carry on the historical brand. Thus the adventure began again: the new Calcagno project takes up that groove of tradition and innovation to bring the Turin chocolate all over the world.
