The brewery was born in 2009 during a boring day at work, in the grey looking Milan office.
After purchasing the first 50L machinery, the beer started to take form, after various failed tests. A while later – through a process of trial and error – they started to have a pleasant and balanced product. From that period, for the following 2 years, all the free time has been dedicated to the creation and to study the techniques of brewing.
So here comes the name Diciottozerouno: from 9-18, the guys work at their daily jobs – but at 18:01, that’s the time they dedicate to their dream: the brewery.
In 2012, a 12HL machinery with a cooking area is bought and they moved to an old farmstead in the village of Oleggio Castello, where they keep producing amazing local beer.
